Rules and Conditions of Registration/Membership

Registrations and membership at MCSC is based on the acceptance and understanding of all rules and regulations. Please read the information below and sign the declaration. This risk indicates that you have read and understood the rules of the ground and are aware of the risk associated with the use of tall facilities

Clay Shooting carries an element of risk in relation to yourself and others around you. To protect yourself from injury you must wear eye and ear projection at all times on the shooting ground., whether shooting or as a spectator. In addition to this, when shooting overhead targets, we highly recommend that some protective headwear is also worn. Non certificate holders must be accompanied on a 1:1 basis an experienced certificate holder who must supervise at all times.

Gun safety is paramount and all shooters must familiarize themselves with the notices placed around the shooting ground regarding safe handling and use of guns on the shooting ground.

Certain per s may under section 21 of the firearms Act 1968 is prohibited from contact with firearms or ammunition. By signing the declaration below you are making the statement that I the undersigned declare that I am not a person prohibited from the possession of firearms or ammunition under section 12 of the firearms Act 1968.

MCSC reserve the right to revoke Registration/membership and refuse entry to any person who do not adhere to the rules of the shooting ground. No refund will be given.

A charge of £5.00 will be liable for replacement clay mate cards and the ground can no accept responsibility for credit outstanding on lost or stolen cards.

MCSC does not accept responsibility to anyone not following these rules.

DATA PROTECTION ACT. Your name, address and membership details are held in a database, for the convenience of the club. If you wish to inspect these details, please advise the membership secretary in writing and arrangements will be made for you to verify
